AN AFTERNOON WITH HECTOR SANGUINO
Hector Sanguino. was
born in Convención, Colombia. His dream to become a writer began in High
school, when friends would ask him to write their love letters or help them
with essays. However, due to economic difficulties, his early stories and
imaginary tales written in pencil were forgotten and would remain unpublished.
Years later, once he finished high school, began to write again, but this
time he would write poems and love songs. Now he is living in Calgary where he
is working in a maintenance company. He is grateful to be able to share what
he’s learned about the betrayal and its secondary effects with the readers in
his adult’s book The effects of betrayal.
This dark story introduces us to a one young man and a CEO, who after loss his
loved ones in a car accident would loss the job and spend all his money saved.
He, in his longing for financial security, is forced to go into the dark world
of drug trafficking where he knows a secret that the mafia wants you to keep
forever. After accepting financial help from a cocaine cartel, he suffers an
implacable chase and years later, he was killed by the cartel’s members.
What inspired you to write The effects of betrayal?
Who inspired me to write The
effects of betrayal, was my co-worker. According to him, was a
Brazilian secret agent who came to Canada as refugee. During the breaks at
work, in our dialogues he always was talking about his experiences.
What inspired the plot and characters of your book?
The secondary effects that in each
betrayal, would receive each one of the characters mentioned in the story that
the supposed Brazilian secret agent, told me.

Among the pages The effects of betrayal,
the reader will find several stories linked in just one that will catch the
reader from beginning to end. Starting with the premeditated murders of Falcão
and his bodyguards, the reader will know all the characters that Jorge
Sotomayor creates during his life as a drug trafficker. Fascinated by these
adventures, the reader will enter the drama of Dirceu Figuereiro, who is
pursued by detectives Baena and Guerrero, as well as by the hitmen of Tancredo
Moreira, his most dangerous enemy. The suspense, drama, action, and mystery in
this novel, will show the reader the promised by his Author.
What is it that makes The effects of betrayal unique?
Because It is a book with a direct message
to persons who like the things easy. The effects that any betrayal will leaves,
will make in more than one reader, avoid doing to other person the things that
they wouldn’t like that other make to them.

Betrayal, revenge, effects.
Have you got any goals in mind that you would like to
achieve with The effects of betrayal?
Get that the future readers of Effects
of betrayal around the world lives the message and
understand that any betrayal carries with revenge and secondary effects.
What is your proudest achievement with your book so far?
The fact people in the pre book launch
advertisement gave it thousands of views.

authors? Believing in yours
Don’t give up your dream; even if people think it’s
impossible, fight for it!
Have you always written in the thriller’s genre?
This is my first thriller book in English.
However, in Spanish I have a couple thriller books published.
Have you got any other books you’re looking to work on
in the future?
If my God allow me, another
thriller book to debut in 2022.
